'Diwali

I have learnt 4 things about Diwali.

1. Diwali is a special celebration for India.

2. It is special to them because it is new years and Christmas.

3. On Diwali day at night they celebrate with cool fireworks.

4. They also buy snacks and treats to celebrate Diwali like lollies and other kind of stuff.

Athletics Day

Today was athletics day I came 5th. But it was cool at lunch cause everyone had a water fight. and for lunch my auntie gave me a E2 and a Steak and Cheese  pie. 

Manaiakalani film festival 2019

Manaiakalani film festival 

On Wednesday 13th of November  Glen Taylor School went on a trip to Sylvia Park to watch the Manaiakalani film festival.  There was lots of school’s there it was in the cinemas. First we had to wait for the bus to arrive. 

Rm 7 was on the bus with us. Me and my friends sat at the back of the bus. It was loud and there was lots of talking.So we arrived at sylvia park cinemas. So we went in to the cinemas there was yummy lollies popcorn and drinks there. But just saying I didn't steal it.

So we went inside there was lots and lots of school there like Pt england, Glen Brae and glen innes.  The best one was our one cause it was funny hilarious. We had to go to see who’s one was the best. So it was finish but when I went on the bus I straight away fell asleep. But my best friend woke me up because we got back to school.

In the beginning I went trick or treating with my friend called amanaki.  I was the skull trooper but it didn't really look like it to be onus. He was a Vampire he had fake blood on his body and fake Vampire teeth.

First I went to go pick up amanaki and he was ready so we went trick or treating.we went to the first house  we got 10 lollies because the lady liked our costume. Then we went to the 2nd house and got somore lollies. But when we went to the 3rd house.

We said trick or treat then he said come Inside I got lollies.  Then me and amanaki said stranger danger. Let’s get out of here amanaki. 

FINALLY we ran away.  My favourite part was when we ran away from that stranger. After that me and amanaki went to my house and ate all our lollies. Me and amanaki was saying ‘hmmm this is so yummy’.

I saw a baboons funny pink butt and a huge tall giraffe.I heard fluffy pigs oinking at me.

I smelt yucky poo.

I touched a  fluffy cheetah skin.

I tasted my tasty lunch.

At the end I felt tired when we got on the bus.
